Ocean City, N.J. will host its annual bicycle auction on Monday, July 16. This summer, approximately 115 used bicycles and other items, like kayaks and surfboards, will be for sale.
Everything in the auction has been deemed abandoned or unclaimed by the Ocean City Police Department.
According to Ocean City, there have been successful bids as low as $1 and high as $350 at past auctions.
Registration begins at 9 a.m., and a driver's license, passport or valid ID is required. Accepted forms of payment are bank checks with ID, traveler’s checks and cash.
