Chester Police say an officer is in critical condition after being struck in an alleged hit-and-run incident at Fourth Street and Morton Avenue.
A motorcycle police officer struck and injured in an alleged hit-and-run incident Friday afternoon has been identified as officer Daniel Hoffman, according to CBS3.
Chester Police are still looking for a driver involved the incident, who reportedly fled the scene.
Police said the vehicle struck the officer Friday at the intersection of Fourth Street and Morton Avenue at 2:48 p.m. Police are looking for an older model Pontiac Grand Prix, painted red or maroon with a green hood or trunk.
Chester Police told PhillyVoice that the officer incurred minor injuries.
