The Bucks County District Attorney's Office and Falls Township police are investigating the Monday death of a 2-year-old girl, the Bucks County Courier Times reports.
The child, who lived with her mother, Kayla Moore, and Moore's boyfriend, Anthony Herrera, in Falls Township, was initially taken to a local hospital before being transported by medical helicopter to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where she died Monday morning.
District Attorney David Heckler said the child could have died from blunt force trauma.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
