Fresh off his new contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, quarterback Sam Bradford is reportedly closing in on a much longer, more binding pact -- marriage.
According to TMZ, the 28-year-old recently got engaged to longtime girlfriend -- and former University of Arkansas golfer -- Emma Lavy.
Sources connected to the couple tell us the two have been dating for a few years ... and last week, Bradford popped the question during a romantic dinner at a fancy restaurant. [tmz.com]
Bradford, like teammate Zach Ertz, is now two-for-two this offseason. Both players have not only signed multi-year deals since the end of the season, but they've also both gotten engaged.
Late last month, Ertz proposed to United States women's national soccer team star Julie Johnston on the campus of Stanford University. The two met while Ertz was playing football at Stanford and Johnston was playing soccer at nearby Santa Clara University.
Congrats, guys. I'll be looking for my Save the Date in the mail.
