A 3-year-old girl died at the hospital after falling from the 4th floor of an apartment building, NBC Philadelphia reports.
Tamara Arnette and her 5-year-old sister fell 40 feet from an Allentown apartment building on the 700 block of Turner Street around 8 p.m. Friday. They were both rushed to Cedar Crest Hospital, where Tamara died shortly afterwards.
The other girl is reportedly critically injured. According to 6 ABC, no one was home with the two girls at the time of the fall.
According to NBC, a small chair could be seen near the window where the girls fell after the incident occurred. A woman who was walking her dog when the fall happened told 6 ABC that she saw the girls fall from the window along with a window screen.
Police are investigating the reason for the fall.
