Harvest Jawn will return to South Philly on Sept. 20 with more than 40 local vendors, food trucks, live music and family-friendly fall activities.
More than 40 local vendors, live music and family-friendly fall activities will take over a South Philly block when Harvest Jawn returns Sunday, Sept. 20.
The third annual street festival runs from noon to 4 p.m. at 2031 S. Juniper St. Admission is free, and the event is open to all ages.
Fall activities will include pumpkin decorating, a pie-eating contest, a seed bomb workshop, balloon art and a bounce house. The Philly Goat Project also will make an appearance.
More than 40 local vendors will be set up throughout the festival, along with food trucks and drinks. Fuzztide Jones will perform live, and a DJ also will provide music.
More than 10 community organizations and causes will participate, including PASA Sustainable Agriculture, Fishtails Animal Rescue, Little Garden Club and South Philly Action Coalition.
Harvest Jawn is organized by South Philly Food Co-Op, a community-owned grocery store with more than 2,800 member-owners.
