Mo'Ne Davis is having a birthday party, and you're invited -- if you do some homework.

The 14-year-old pitching phenom who led the Taney Dragons to the Little League World Series last summer is asking her fans to write an essay on how her story has inspired them. In exchange, six winners will be invited to her birthday celebration.

The essays need to be sent to P.O. Box 484 Broomall, Pennsylvania, 19008 by August 15, and contestants need to be between the ages of 12-16.

Winners will be notified on August 20. The party, according to 6 ABC, is being held August 30 at an undisclosed location. More from Davis' Instagram post about the contest:

I Would Like For My Supporters To Join Me For My Ultimate BIRTHDAY BASH!  Please Submit A 300 Word Essay Explaining How My Journey Has Inspired You In Creating Your Own Journey. The Top 6 entries Will Live It Up In VIP With Me!! It seems a little odd that Davis is apparently having a birthday party two months after the actual day (a New York Times article from August 2014 says her birthday was two months earlier).

But when you're become the first girl to win a game in the Little League World Series, land a spot on the cover of Sports Illustrated, and handle unprovoked racist comments with the utmost class, you can pretty much hold a party whenever you want.
