Police investigate after teen, 15, shot in North Philadelphia

Victim rushed to Einstein Hospital after suffering gunshot wound to the leg

Philadelphia police are investigating after a 15-year-old male was shot in the leg Sunday afternoon in North Philadelphia.

According to authorities, the shooting occurred around 3:21 p.m. at the intersection of Chew Avenue and Chelten Avenue, CBS 3 reports.

The victim, who has not been identified, was driven to Einstein Hospital in a black Town & Country Chrysler minivan before police arrived at the scene.

The victim is reportedly in stable condition.

Police have not made any arrests.
