Philadelphia police have arrested a man they say beat a woman to death inside a boarding house Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say the 54-year-old suspect assaulted the 52-year-old woman inside the boarding house located on the 3700 block of North 18th Street shortly before 3:30 p.m, according to NBC 10.
The female victim was taken to Temple University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 3:58 p.m.
Police have not revealed the identity of the suspect or announced formal charges.
