Police have confirmed the arrest of one of two suspects in the robbery of a Temple University student that occurred around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

NBC 10 reports that the victim, a 22-year-old student, was leaving a home on the 1800 block of W. Berks street when he was approached by two armed suspects. Police say that one of the suspects carried a silver semi-automatic pistol and demanded that the student hand over his iPhone 6. After the student complied, the suspects fled.

Officers later stopped a man who matched the description provided to them. After a search, the student's iPhone was recovered and the suspect was placed under arrest.

Police have not identified the suspect in custody and have yet to release any further information about the suspect still at large.
