PSPCA hosts jewelry making event supporting animals

The community workshop combines crafts, BYOB, animals and education

The Pennsylvania SPCA in Fishtown is hosting a BYOB jewelry-making workshop as part of its Speakers Series program on Tuesday, Jan. 26. The program works to connect and educate participants around various animal welfare topics. Renee Beaucheane, who will lead the craft night, is known for making jewelry inspired by nature and using environmentally friendly materials.

During the class, attendees will create an animal-themed necklace to wear home.

The PSPCA’s Fishtown Center opened last year and provides pet adoption, animal vaccines, education events, puppy training classes and neutering and spaying.
