Radar system issues scrub SpaceX launch

Issues with the radar systems of an unmanned Falcon 9 rocket caused the postponement of its launch from Elon Musk's SpaceX on Sunday.


Bloomberg reports that issues developed with the system designed to the track the flight of the rocket, whose mission was to monitor solar weather using a refrigerator-sized satellite. 

Mission control called off the launch about 2 minutes and 26 seconds before its planned 6:10 p.m. liftoff from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. 

Flight directors said the next launch opportunity will be on Monday at 6:07 p.m.
