Fiddler is patiently waiting to find his furever home.

Fiddler was brought to the ACCT Philly shelter on June 6 after a police officer found him running around. He really, really likes being outside. “We think he was someone’s dog because he seems to be housetrained and walks well on a leash,” says ACCT Philly.

  • Specifics
  • pit bull mix
  • 5-7 years
  • male/neutered
  • medium/large, about 60 lbs.
  • very housetrained

“Fiddler gets a little over excited at the beginning of walks, but calms down after a few minutes. Like all dogs, he would benefit from a schedule so he learns that walks aren’t a special treat, but will be happening every single day. He’s got a great, big happy smile and personality to match.

ACCT Philly aims to make adopting a pet an enjoyable, stress-free process. They ask that you bring a photo ID, proof of address and, if adopting a dog, any children or resident dogs that will be living with your new family member. After filling out a short adoption application, their adoption counselors will help match you with the perfect pet.

All animals are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and have been examined by a veterinarian. Adoption fees and specials vary month to month and can be found on the ACCT website along with adoption locations and hours.
