Eagles report cards through the first quarter of the season: Offense edition

The Philadelphia Eagles came into the 2018 season with high expectations, because, you know, they won the Super Bowl last year. Through the first four games, the team has gotten out to a disappointing-but-deserved 2-2 start, and have not looked like the powerhouse that they were a year ago.

It doesn't appear as though there will be changes in the Eagles' secondary

In the Philadelphia Eagles' 26-23 overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans, the Birds were torched through the air by a weak Titans passing attack, to the tune of 344 yards. That poor performance came two weeks after the Eagles gave up over 400 yards to Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Eagles power ranking roundup: Week 5

Are power rankings completely dumb and meaningless? Yes. Yes, they are. However, personally speaking, whenever I see them, I click. The Philadelphia Eagles are now 2-2 after what can only be described as a bad 26-23 overtime loss against a less talented team in the Tennessee Titans. As always, win or lose, we hand out 10 awards.

Week 4 non-Eagles Sunday rooting guide

In past seasons, Philadelphia Eagles fans generally rooted for their own team, and kept an eye on the rest of the NFC East. In 2018, with the Birds being among the favorites to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, it's perhaps worth keeping tabs on the conference, as opposed to just the division. And so, each week we'll lay out a rooting guide for non-Eagles games on the NFL schedule, and yes, I'm aware that most of the below is obvious.

Eagles-Titans inactives, with analysis

So far in 2018, the Eagles have been snake-bitten by injuries, as they have four contributing players on injured reserve, and two more PUP/NFI. The Titans, meanwhile, faced some injury adversity early this season, but their injury report is far cleaner than Philly's.
