The officer-to-residential conversion is Philly's first since the COVID-19 pandemic, when the rise of remote work set off an urban trend of transforming struggling officer properties into homes. The first residents at 1701 Market St. will move in at the beginning of May.

Emergency drill at Lincoln Financial Field on Wednesday to bring road closures and loud noises

The Philadelphia Eagles are partnering with the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency for an emergency drill at Lincoln Financial Field on Wednesday, April 23. The team said people in the area may hear loud noises and some roads around the Sports Complex will be closed that day to allow local, state and federal law enforcement partners to test emergency response plans as part of the exercise.

Lee Corso is retiring from 'College GameDay.' In 2002, he dressed as Ben Franklin and predicted a Penn victory.

After nearly four decades on ESPN's 'College GameDay,' football analyst Lee Corso announced Thursday he's retiring. Corso, who famously picked games by wearing headgear of team mascots, had a memorable appearance in Philly in 2002. Dressed as Ben Franklin, Corso picked Penn before the Quakers defeated Harvard 44-9 at Franklin Field.
