Two critically injured in pair of overnight Philly shootings

Police investigate shoots in North and Southwest Philadelphia

Philadelphia police are investigating after two men were critically injured in a pair of separate overnight shootings.

Authorities say the first incident occurred shortly after 2 a.m. at North 2nd and Cumberland streets in North Philadelphia, according to CBS 3.

A 25-year-old victim was shot twice in the back, police said.

Separately, another shooting incident occurred on the 2500 block Wanamaker Street in Southwest Philadelphia.

According to police, the male victim, also 25, was sustained three gunshot wounds.

No arrests have been made in either of the shootings. Police continue to search for suspects.
