As the clock winds down to a 12th season of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," fans of the hit series may rightly wonder whether the show is bound to take some sort of pretend maudlin turn, revealing a maturity hidden somewhere in all the gang's boozy delinquency.

Not remotely. Rob McElhenney and company continue to reach new levels of depravity, judging by the latest FXX trailer for the upcoming season. This manages somehow to sink lower than the below-boardwalk hobo sex found in Season 7's classic Jersey Shore Rum Ham episode.

There's really no stone left unturned in this thing, which is as NSFW as any long-running TV show trailer you will ever see. No need to spoil it. Just be warned that Philly's most shameless fictional foursome again puts the second syllable and emphasis into the word ambassadors with total reckless abandon.
