A 27-year-old woman was thrown onto the Market-Frankford elevated train tracks Sunday morning while standing on the platform at SEPTA's 40th Street Station. Kenneth Grimes, 33, of Philadelphia allegedly shoved the woman onto the tracks for no readily apparent reason, Philadelphia police said.

Police offer reward for arrest of suspect who shot Tacony woman in face

The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 5 is offering a $5,000 award for information leading to the arrest of a man suspected of shooting and robbing a 75-year-old Tacony woman, Philadelphia police announced Friday. The Citizen Crime Commission is offering another $1,000 for info that leads to both the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
