Woman faces charge of making false report about teen with gun on Wildwood boardwalk, prompting evacuation

A Bucks County woman is facing charges for allegedly making a false report to police about seeing a teenager with a gun enter Morey's Piers on the Wildwood boardwalk. The report prompted authorities to evacuate the amusement park on July 22. Police later determined that Taylor Erickson, 29, of Bristol, fabricated the story after getting into an argument with a group of juveniles, investigators said.
