The police are looking for information on a suspect who, law enforcement officials believe, robbed at least three people in one night in Old City.

Philadelphia police are seeking help from the public after a one-night mugging spree in the city's Old City neighborhood.

On Friday, police released surveillance video of a suspect following at least three incidents that occurred in the early evening hours of Oct. 3 in the neighborhood known for nightlife in the city.

Police said the incidents all occurred last Saturday, the first at about 9 p.m., when four men ages 24-25 were walking north on the 300 block of S. 5th St.

According to police, the group was approached by a male who pulled a handgun and demanded money.

After taking $80 from two of the complainants, police said that the suspect fled and was last seen heading north on 5th Street, then west on Spruce Street, and was observed entering a black SUV at 5th and Pine streets.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Less than a half-hour later, at about 9:25 p.m., police said a 36-year-old man walking south on the 300 block of 5th St. was approached by a black male armed with a handgun.

Again, the suspect demanded money, the victim complied, and the suspect fled on foot – and was last seen heading south on 5th Street, police said.

Just 15 to 20 minutes later, at 9:40 p.m., law enforcement officials said a 50-year-old man was walking with his wife at Front & Dock streets when they were approached by a black male armed with a handgun who demanded money.

After taking about $65 from the couple, police said the suspect fled and was last seen heading north on Front Street toward Chestnut Street.

According to police, the suspect in all of these robberies is described as a black male, about 20 years old, with a dark complexion, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a thin build. He was clean-shaven, was wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, black baseball cap, jeans and black sneakers and was armed with a handgun.

Law enforcement officials said the suspect's vehicle is believed to be a dark Infiniti SUV/crossover type, possibly a mid-2000s Infiniti FX35, and appeared to have New Jersey license plates.
