Police are looking to identify and locate the suspect wanted in multiple robberies in Philadelphia.

Police are seeking the public's help in finding a suspect wanted in connection with several commercial robberies in Frankford, Mayfair, Northwood, Holmesburg and Wissinoming.

In the most recent incident on Tuesday, an unknown male entered a Dollar Tree store at 8045 Frankford Ave. at 3:15 p.m. and went behind the counter with an item. Police said he then pointed a handgun to the employee’s back and demanded money from the register.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction after a manager gave him an unknown amount of money from the register, police said.

Police released surveillance video Wednesday of a robbery on June 11 believed to be by the same offender. In the video, he can be seen entering King Perfume at 4602 Frankford Ave.

He pulls a handgun on the clerk and demands money from the cash register, police said. According to authorities, after he is given an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect ties the clerk with rope. He then flees the store on foot.

The suspect is also wanted in several other robbery incidents.

Police describe the suspect as a 50-year-old, 6-foot-tall black male with medium complexion who is clean shaven and wearing a dark-colored baseball cap with writing, white over blue button-down shirt, dark-colored pants and sunglasses.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police at (215) 686-TIPS (8477) or text a tip to PPD TIP (773847).
