Dilworth Park in Center City comes alive when the weather warms up. Here, Leo and Zoe play in the park's fountains.

It looks like the Center City District is getting in on the OctoberFest action with a week of festivities Wednesday, Oct. 21 through Sunday, Oct. 25. The fall festival will take place in Dilworth Park and include activities for all ages.

A beer garden (sponsored by Saul Ewing and thus awkwardly dubbed "Saultoberfest") will be open by Rosa Blanca Cafe 5-9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, noon-8 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday. DJs Patrice McBride, Reed Streets and De Tierra Caliente will provide the tunes 6-8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, respectively.

Saturday and Sunday the party hits its stride. Local artists like Brianna Cash, Kriss Mincey and Work Drugs will perform over the weekend. (See the full lineup here.) Bocce ball and corn hole will be available to play both days and a Kid's Corner will be open Saturday noon-4 p.m. with pumpkin painting, face painting and live entertainment.
