Manayunk will welcome a new raw bar this fall from Philadelphia's prominent Anastasi seafood family, whose roots in the city extend back four generations.
Anastasi Raw Bar will open at 4161 Main Street, the former site of Beast & Ale, Bisou and Gemelli, and MangoMoon, some time in late September or early October, Philly.com reports.
Patrons can expect a blend of Mia Anastasi's seafood restaurant at 9th and Washington and brother Tommy's Pescatore in Bala Cynwyd. The classic raw bar will also possess a liquor license.
Mia and Tommy Anastasi are joined in the partnership by Pescatore general manager Frank Kemp.
