Authorities are investigating after a body was discovered on the side of the road in South Jersey Sunday morning.
According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, police responded to a report of a dead man found off of Great Creek Road in Galloway Township around 7:20 a.m.
The man's family has been notified, authorities say, but the identity of the victim is not being released.
Atlantic County Prosecutors’ Major Crimes Unit is investigating along with the Galloway Township Police Department. No additional details have been released.
