Hulk Hogan tweets moving tribute to Bam Margera, who isn't even dead

Former pro-wrestler later admitted he had confused the former 'Jackass' star with Ryan Dunn, who died in 2011

It is nothing short of a miracle that Chester County native Bam Margera is still alive in 2018.

Always a daredevil, Margera, 38, has tempted fate often enough to be dead. The former "Jackass" star and pro skater also sank into a spell of serious alcoholism after his best friend, Ryan Dunn, fatally crashed his Porsche on Route 322 in West Goshen in 2011.

What's more troubling is that Bam could have been killed in a separate 1995 car accident with Dunn behind the wheel. Dunn's Volkswagen reportedly flipped eight times into oncoming traffic on Route 202. He was driving 100 mph with Chris Raab, Bam and his younger brother in the vehicle.

Put in that context, maybe it's not so surprising that former wrestler and reality star Hulk Hogan thought his friend Bam was dead, as he suggested in a Twitter tribute on Memorial Day.

Hogan posted a picture of himself with Bam on Monday, writing: "Damn Bam I wish you were still with us, I sure would like to hang out again brother love u miss u HH."

A second tweet quickly followed: "Got Ryan and Bam mixed up sorry Bam!!! HH."

Hogan took some heat on Twitter, but most of it was in jest.

Bam Margera hasn't yet responded to the mix-up. It looks like the new father had himself a perfectly fine Memorial Day weekend.
