Fringe Arts/Visit Philadelphia™
Peter Woolsey of Bistrot La Minette fame began his second Philadelphia act with the opening of La Peg in fall 2014. Housed in the FringeArts headquarters on the Delaware River waterfront, the brasserie serves classic French cuisine with international accents.
On March 8, Sly Fox Brewery will join La Peg's chef Peter Woolsey for a beer-pairing dinner, featuring four courses for $38 per person, including beers.
Dishes paired with Sly Fox brews include:
•Cheddar soup with broccoli florets, bacon and toasted hazelnuts, paired with Helles Golden Lager
•Beer-Braised pork belly ravioli with brussels sprouts, caramelized onions and herbs, paired with 113 IPA
•Beer-and-honey-glazed Cornish Hen with roasted carrots, fingerling potatoes, fava beans and roasted cauliflower, paired with Saison VOS
•Poached pear cobbler with caramel ice cream, paired with Ichor
