Bucks County to host family-friendly Land of Enchantment Festival

Dress up as a princess, pirate, wizard or fairy

Snipes Farm and Education Center in Bucks County will host the Land of Enchantment Festival on May 21. The family-friendly festival will celebrate folklore and fantasy.

Attendees are invited to dress as pirates, princesses, fairies, wizards or other characters from myths, folklore and legends. A roving troupe of entertainers will be dressed up for the occasion.

The day starts at 11 a.m. and will include a treasure hunt, pony rides, arts & crafts, enchanted farm tours to see the animals, a bounce house, face painting and other family-friendly activities.

Between all the activities, don't miss the performances scheduled throughout the day. Take part in the "Greatest Pirate Story Never Told," an interactive show that uses swordplay and comedy, or watch the play "The Fairy Who Lost Her Wings." Irish dance, live folk music and belly dancing are scheduled for the event, too.

As for festival fare, there will be food trucks on the farm selling everything from cupcakes and water ice to hoagies and barbecue.

Admission to the festival for those 3-and-up will be $5.
