Laurel Hill Cemetery to host 'Ghostly Circus' in graveyard

Fire dancers, aerial performers set to entertain

UPDATE: Both nights of "Ghostly Circus" have been postponed to Friday, May 20 at 8 p.m. All ticket holders will receive an email with further instructions, according to Laurel Hill Cemetery's website.


Laurel Hill Cemetery will host "The Ghostly Circus" for two days, beginning Friday, May 13. Attendees can expect an other-worldly show beginning at 8 on both evenings. Fire dancers, aerial performers and a theatrical sideshow are all scheduled.

At the end of the performances, there will be a "Dance With the Dead" after-party.

The Ghostly Circus, directed by 7textures, flies again for the third annual showcase on Friday, May 13 & Saturday, May 14, 2016, bringing fire and aerial theatre in support of the Friends of Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Attendees are invited to bring beach chairs or blankets for the graveyard theater show, created with help from event design group 7textures.

Tickets are $25 in advance (online at TheLaurelHillCemetary.org) or $35 the day of, if not sold out. The event will begin at 8 p.m. but the cemetery gates will open at 7 p.m.
