PSU police: Two incidents of students photographed in the shower

Police at Penn State University are investigating two reports of students being photographed or videotaped while showering at a campus dorm.

The invasion of privacy incidents took place in Thompson Hall, police said. The actor or actors are unknown at this time.

The incidents were reported about 9:40 p.m. Sunday and 12:45 a.m. Monday.

Police are asking that anyone with information about the suspects or who has experienced similar activity to contact them at 814-863-1111. Anonymous tips can be submitted online.

In addition, tips can be submitted via email to Centre County CrimeStoppers. Those providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.

Police also advised the campus community to:

• Report any suspicious people immediately.

• Trust your instincts. If you feel unsafe, get to a safe place and call for help.

• Get involved if you see someone getting victimized by calling university police.
