The new miniature-golf bar and restaurant Puttshack debuts inside the Shops at Liberty Place in Center City on Saturday, Feb. 24. The venue's four nine-hole courses occupy a 26,000-square-foot, ground-floor space at 1625 Chestnut St., among the stores at the bases of the Liberty One and Liberty Two towers.

Puttshack boasts the use of high-tech golf balls that count players' shots and keep score automatically as they play the colorfully lit courses. Also guests create profiles so each round they play, the ball-tracking technology tallies more statistics about their performances.

On the menu at Puttshack will be items like cheesesteak flatbread; chorizo and cheese empanadas; Korean bao buns; wood-fire grilled octopus; and a roast pork, provolone and broccoli rabe filled spring roll called the Philadelphia Tailpipe. For each spring roll sold, $1 will be donated to Philabundance.

Puttshack says its daytime atmosphere will be family-friendly, but after 8 p.m., the venue will be 21-and-over only. The restaurant area will have a 26-seat bar and a dining room that can accomodate 185 people.

Owners announced plans to come to Philadelphia in 2022. Puttshack has nine other locations in the U.S.

Puttshack's hours will be Sunday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
