Reports: Delaware teenager shot at school bus stop

A Wilmington, Delaware, ninth-grader was shot at and struck three times while waiting for a school bus at around 7 a.m. on Monday.

According to 6ABC, police said the 15-year-old boy was struck three times at close range and then proceeded to get onto the school bus. He was taken to Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, and his condition is unknown.

There is no word on any suspects or a motive at this time. 

The shooting occurred at North Van Buren Street near 27th Street in Wilmington. A Red Clay Consolidated School District spokesperson told 6ABC that the victim is a student at John Dickinson High School, which is in the Milltown neighborhood outside the city limits.
