SEPTA releases modified Regional Rail holiday schedule

Planning on taking the train Christmas Day? Plan ahead.

SEPTA recently released its modified Regional Rail schedule that will go into effect Sunday and will impact all lines.

Trains will operate on a normal weekday schedule on Friday, a regular Saturday schedule on Christmas Eve and a regular Sunday schedule on Monday.

The modified Christmas schedules can be found below:

Airport Line 

Chestnut Hill East Line 

Chestnut Hill West Line

Fox Chase Line 

Glenside Combined Line 

Lansdale/Doylestown Line 

Manayunk/Norristown Line 

Media/Elwyn Line 

Paoli/Thorndale Line 

Trenton Line 

Warminster Line 

West Trenton Line 

Wilmington/Newark Line 

SEPTA's ticket office hours will also be modified over the holiday weekend. Offices in Jefferson, Suburban and 30th Street stations will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, with regular office hours at all other stations.

Those three offices will be the only ones open Sunday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

All offices will also be closed Monday, aside from ticket offices in Jefferson, Suburban and 30th Street stations, which will be open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
