The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority suspended service on Sunday at the Norristown Transportation Center due to police activity.

At 2:03 p.m., the transit agency announced that the Norristown High Speed Line and the Manayunk/Norristown Line were affected.

According to 6ABC, a report of a suspicious package at the transit hub, located at Lafayette and Swede Streets, caused an evacuation of the area.

SEPTA announced at 3:21 p.m. that the situation was cleared and service was restored.

Delays are expected.
