Your team's first round picks since 2010, if Mel Kiper's initial mock drafts were perfect

A couple weeks ago, the original "draftnik," ESPN's Mel Kiper, published his first mock draft of the offseason. I can say with a high level of certainty that it will be very, very wrong. Mock drafts are what they are – a good way to learn a little something about the top prospects who will be selected in or around the first round of the draft. If you're looking for accuracy, forget it.

As a reminder, the Eagles are projected to have 10 draft picks this year, with two in the third round, and three in the fourth, depending on how compensatory pick projections go.

Mailbag: A look at potential Eagles wide receiver trade targets

In our Eagles chat on Friday, there were a lot of questions that we could not get to in time or other questions we did answer but could use more color. And so, let's do a mailbag post to answer some of the overflow.

Super Bowl LIV Final: Chiefs 31, 49ers 20

A year ago, the Super Bowl was difficult to get excited about, as the scumbag cheating New England Patri*ts took on the Sean McVay hype machine Los Angeles Rams, who, if we're being honest, were beneficiaries of an atrocious no-call in the NFC Championship Game, and would very likely not have advanced, absent that luck. This year, we have a much more aesthetically pleasing matchup between Andy Reid's track team in the Kansas City Chiefs, and a San Francisco 49ers team that was so bad for so long that they were able to build the best defensive line in the sport via very high draft picks.

Handing out awards for the 2019 Eagles, NFL Honors-style

Each year on the night before the Super Bowl, the NFL has its version of the Oscars, when it hands out awards for the regular season. This year, the Philadelphia Eagles are unlikely to have any winners, so let's go ahead an do an Eagles-only version of the NFL Honors awards show.

A list of former Eagles players on XFL rosters

On the Saturday after the Super Bowl, the XFL will kick off its second attempt at existence. Because I can't think of anything short to write this morning, I went through each of the XFL teams' rosters (which was fun), and found all the players who were at one time on the Birds' 53-man roster, 90-man training camp roster, or found their way onto their practice squad at one time or another.

The Eagles' and Bears' trade conditions for Jordan Howard

Back in March of 2019, the Chicago Bears traded Jordan Howard to the Philadelphia Eagles for a sixth-round pick that could become a fifth-round pick if certain conditions were met. Those conditions were not yet known.

Re-grading the Eagles' 2019 draft

At the conclusion of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles received mixed reviews locally, however, their draft was received very favorably among most of the national draft analysts. Soon after the draft, we did "an Eagles draft grade roundup," and they received a "GPA" of 3.37.
