Rodgers was a free agent this offseason, and obviously did not have a strong market, seeing as he had 1 catch for 7 yards in 2018. Still, he's a perfectly cromulent third tight end, and it makes sense for the Eagles to bring him back both as a special teams player, as well as insurance for Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert.

In his yearly press conference at the NFL Owners Meetings, Jeffrey Lurie fielded his yearly question about whether or not the team will occasionally wear Kelly green jerseys, and he sounded optimistic for the first time since the league implemented a senseless rule that teams cannot wear two different helmet colors during the season.
