Philadelphia will get $110 million from Walgreens in opioid lawsuit settlement

Philadelphia will receive $110 million over five years from Walgreens as part of an opioid lawsuit settlement. The pharmacy chain did not admit to any liability in the opioid crisis. The money will be used to fund drug education, treatment and prevention efforts in the city neighborhoods hit hardest by the overdose crisis.
