A Change.org petition has called for Donna Kelce, the mother of NFL stars Jason and Travis, to flip the coin at the start of Super Bowl LVII between the Eagles and Chiefs. The petition to the NFL has collected more than 11,000 signatures and counting. Donna Kelce talked about the emotions of her sons competition against one another on the big stage during an appearance on the "Today" show.

The so-called "Kelce Bowl" between the Eagles and Chiefs marks the first time in NFL history that two siblings have squared off in the Super Bowl. The game will be played Feb. 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

LaScala's Beach Bar will move into the space at 1400 Ocean Ave. in Brigantine after the closure of the long-running Laguna Grill & Rum Bar. The owners are the same restaurant group behind LaScala's Fire, which has locations in Marlton, Glassboro, Villanova and Philadelphia. The new beach bar will feature live music and DJs during the summer months. It's expected to open this summer.

Philadelphia-based developer Brickstone Realty Corporation has proposed a luxury resort in Cape May County in the offshore community of Dennis Township. The Clermont Lodge retreat would be built on a 30-acre property that's currently undeveloped. The site is near the intersection of New Jersey Routes 83 and 9. Clermont Lodge would feature a total of 120 guest rooms spread across a three-story hotel building, bungalows and individual cabins. The proposal includes a tavern, barns and a dedicated wedding venue.

Developers have proposed a 120-unit apartment complex at 3900 Main St. in Manayunk, a site that sits along the banks of the Schuylkill River in an area that saw extreme flooding during Hurricane Ida in September 2021. The former industrial corridor continues to be targeted by developers despite the flood risk and climate change models that predict more precipitation and more powerful storms in the years ahead. The proposal will be discussed by Philadelphia's Civic Design Review panel on Feb. 7.

Destiny Carter and Ron Williams have seen their videos go viral on social media as they both work to build their respective brands. The videos featuring homes Philly neighborhoods have become popular on TikTok, Instagram and Twitter in recent months.

Philadelphia Eagles fan and podcaster Giovanni Hamilton has raised thousands of dollars in order to see the team face the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Feb. 12. Hamilton was born with Schwartz-Jampel syndrome, a rare condition that causes skeletal deformities and has required multiple surgeries. Despite his health struggles, Hamilton has developed a successful sports podcast that has featured interviews with star players including Jalen Hurts, Yannick Ngakoue, Chris Long and T.Y. Hilton.

The live album, unreleased demos and other tracks are now on YouTube and streaming platforms. "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" began filming for its 16th season on Thursday. Series co-creator Rob McElhenney said his wife and co-star, Kaitlin Olson, got a black eye after she "ran into a wall" ahead of the start of filming. McElhenney shared a photo of Olson with a shiner. Olson has a history of serious injuries, including a fractured skull she suffered in a bicycle accident when she was 12 years old.
