In U.S. 1st District of Pennsylvania, Republican U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick is seeking a fifth term and facing a primary challenge from conservative Mark Houck. The district covers all of Bucks County and part of Montgomery County. In the 7th District, which covers the Lehigh Valley, three Republicans are vying for the party's nomination and a chance challenge Democratic U.S. Rep. Susan Wild in the November general election.

In Pennsylvania's primary elections for attorney general on Tuesday, Democrat Eugene DePasquale and Republican Dave Sunday were projected to win their parties' nominations and will face in each other in the November general election. The attorney general serves as the state's top prosecutor, handling a wide array of investigations in addition to legal advocacy on behalf of the public in areas such as consumer protection, health care and civil rights.

Wander Back Beerworks, a new brewery in Vineland, New Jersey, is being opened by three former staffers of Cape May Brewing Co. Wander Back Beerworks will begin distributing its first two beers — Wanderback Lager and Perfectly Cromulent IPA — in late May. A third beer, Future Proof Pils, will follow soon after.

Former Philadelphia police officer Edsaul Mendoza has pleaded guilty to third-degree murder for fatally shooting 12-year-old T.J. Siderio in South Philly in March 2022. Siderio, who had fired shots into an unmarked police car, was unarmed and lying face down on the ground after officers chased him. He's the youngest person ever killed by a city police officer in Philadelphia.

Guy Fieri's Chophouse restaurant at Bally's Atlantic City Hotel & Casino will close on April 25 after a decade-long run. The casino plans to replace the concept with Park Place Prime, a contemporary steakhouse that's expected to open this summer.
