Hawthornes Beer Cafe will host the 2016 Great Harvest Cider & Beer Festival on Nov. 5. So far, the festival is set to feature 27 ciders and 44 autumn lagers and pumpkin brews.
The outdoor festival may promise a full day of boozing for the 21-plus crowd but the day is family-friendly and pet-friendly, too. Live music will be provided by various rock and blues bands, plus there will be plenty of food.
Look for short-rib chili with cornbread, veggie burgers, pumpkin caramel popcorn, smoked brisket sandwiches, Thanksgiving-style turkey croquettes and bags of wings at the festival.
Just remember to bring cash for all food and drink purchases.
