Reading Terminal Market.

Philadelphia's Reading Terminal Market has a storied history, and for good reason. Local culinary staples like DiNic's Roast Pork, Termini Brothers, Bassetts Ice Cream and Iovine Brothers Produce all live there. So why not show some support for this institution by heading to the 5th Annual Party for the Market Saturday, Feb. 21?

The yearly fundraiser features drinking, eating, live entertainment, activities and dancing, all in celebration of RTM. There will be a cocktail and cabaret lounge, music by local party band Six of One and four open bars for guests. Last but not least, more than 30 of the market's vendors will be open for all-you-can-eat deliciousness.

Net proceeds from the event go toward preserving the historic site and toward a nutrition education program for the city's schoolchildren. Be sure to dress your best in suits and cocktail dresses, as this is a fancy schmancy soiree, no matter how much you plan to pig out.
