Arbor Day becomes 'Arbrew Day' again in Philly

Arbrew Day will take place on April 29 at various bars.

On Arbor Day 2016, taking place April 29, TreePhilly will once again host a free tree giveaway. This will be the third year that Philadelphians can stop in for happy hour at a participating bar and leave with a sapling to plant. 

Each tree will be between three to eight feet tall and will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those who take one home will receive a free Yards Brewing Company beer, T-shirt that says "Drink beers. Plant trees" and educational material.

All participating bars will feature an exclusive preview of Yards' Cape of Good Hope double IPA.
