Favorite Broadway songs to be performed at Kimmel Center

Sing along to hits from "Wicked," "Phantom of the Opera" and other modern musicals

There are three opportunities to sing along to Broadway hits with the Philly POPS in February. 

Beginning on Feb. 24, David Charles Abell will lead the 65-piece POPS orchestra, the 180-voice Festival Chorus and three of Broadway’s most talented stars in performing a roundup of the best of modern Broadway.

The program of Broadway hits includes:

Hugh Panaro, Rachel York and Alli Mauzey are the three guest performers. Here are some quick facts about them:

• Panaro played the Phantom in Broadway's "The Phantom of the Opera" more than 2,000 times.
• Mauzey last appeared on Broadway as Glinda in the 10th anniversary company of "Wicked."
• York is 
known for her critically acclaimed Broadway performances in "City of Angels," "Les Misérables" and "Victor/Victoria."
