Authorities are investigating the death of the unidentified man, who they said may have been a drifter seeking clothing

Authorities in Burlington County are investigating the death of a man whose body was found dangling from a metal clothing donation bin.

According to NBC10, police said the unidentified man may have been a drifter attempting to retrieve clothing when his upper body got stuck inside the container.

Authorities said a woman, who has asked not to be named, noticed the man's legs sticking out from the bin in the parking lot of the Country Farm Convenience Store in Pemberton Township on Sunday and alerted police.

Police were unable to revive the man. A full investigation into the cause of death is underway.
