Center City men's clothing and shoe store UBIQ is teaming up with Converse for an in-store event. Highlighting Converse's "Made By You" campaign featuring their Chuck Taylor All Stars, on Friday, May 22, four local artists will customize the brand's shoes for attendees who purchase Chucks at the event.
Martha Rich, Thom Lessner, Hawk Krall and Andrew Jeffrey Wright, whose work is featured above, will be on hand to trick out one-of-a-kind shoes. A heat press station will help shoppers stamp the tongue of their new shoes, too.
DJ Sammy Slice will provide the music and food, and drinks will round out the night's events.
