Traffic was backed up on I-95 southbound in Northeast Philadelphia early Tuesday morning due to a crash.
The crash occurred on I-95 southbound between Exit 30 (Cottman Avenue/Rhawn Street) and Exit 27 (Bridge Street/Harbison Avenue).
PennDOT reported that all lanes were closed around 5:45 a.m.

Just after 6 a.m., CBSPhilly reported that the heavy delays were due to two jackknifed tractor-trailers.

The crash was reportedly cleared shortly after 7 a.m. Traffic was still delayed in the area.

There was no immediate word on injuries or the cause of the crash.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
