A Philadelphia nun was arrested and charged with driving under the influence over the weekend after police said she backed her pickup truck into a New Jersey business, FOX29 reports.
According to Washington Township police, the nun pulled into the parking lot of a Meineke Auto Shop in Turnersville, Gloucester County, and backed into the door before pulling out early Saturday morning.
The nun was identified by Philly.com as Sister Kimberly Miller, a faculty member at Little Flower High School for Girls in Philadelphia.
Miller was reportedly driving an F-150. Police pulled her over down the road. She allegedly failed a field sobriety test and was arrested and charged.
Philly.com reports that Miller was placed on administrative leave by the archdiocese on Wednesday, and arrangements have been made to provide coverage for her classes.
