The Fat Ham serves southern-style fare. A second location will open in King of Prussia on Sep. 19, 2016.

Chef Kevin Sbraga is bringing his southern country cooking to the Philly suburbs. A new Fat Ham will open in the King of Prussia Mall on Sept. 19.

The original restaurant is located in West Philadelphia and is known for serving up small plates of southern goodness. King of Prussia's menu will have many of the same dishes, including hot chicken with ranch dressing and baked mac & cheese. Plus, there will be new items like the St. Louis style ribs and chicken & waffles.

One of the dishes at the Fat Ham consists of hot fried chicken, brioche, ranch dressing and dill pickles.

Behind the bar, there will be bourbons and whiskeys to pair with all the fried chicken, pulled pork and beef brisket on the menu.

Hours of operation will follow mall hours, closing at 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 6 p.m. on Sundays. The restaurant will not be taking reservations.

Sbraga, a New Jersey native, was a Bravo "Top Chef" winner
