The Strawberry Mansion Music Pavilion lit up for the 2014 Glow in the Park event. This year's event will be held at Smith Memorial Arch.

Tickets are still available for the upcoming fundraising event Glow in the Park, happening Thursday, Oct. 22 in West Fairmount Park. Each year the Fairmount Park Conservancy and its supporters visit the Smith Memorial Arch for live music, food and fundraising.

The event sets the Smith Memorial aglow with lights as young professionals dance, eat and drink. Its purpose is to create interest in and raise funds for local parks, creating what the FPC calls "park champions" along the way.

The FPC has scored a deal with Uber to get guests new to the service a complimentary ride up to $20, too. Just use the promo code GLOWINTHEPARK when you sign up.

The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia is also leading a guided ride to the event with complimentary bike valet upon arrival. Join the ride's Facebook event here
