Chicken wings.

The Goat's Beard, located on Main Street in Manayunk, will host a Beefsteak Dinner on April 19. The menu will be grilled spatchcock chicken, fried buttermilk chicken wings, baby back ribs made with Berkshire pork, rib-eye BBQ wings, beef tenderloin, seasonal veggies and hummus. For those who still have room for dessert, brownies and pound cake will be served.

Attendees will have to eat everything with their hands because no utensils or plates will be provided.

The event is a play on 19th century Beefsteak Dinners, when attendees would dress up, head out and eat with their bare hands. Usually, the dinners were political fundraisers in New York City.

At The Goat's Beard's dinner, there will be Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout and Copper & Kings Brandy paired with the meats.

A credit card is required to hold reservations for the night but those who pay with cash on April 19 will receive a $5 discount. Dinner is $60 per person or $55 for those paying with cash.
