Ingrid Michaelson hits Mann Center this summer

Tickets for the indie singer's show go on sale Friday

Singer-songwriter and indie darling Ingrid Michaelson will hit up the Skyline Stage at the Mann Center on June 30. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, March 27 at 10 a.m.

Michaelson, known for songs like 2008's "Be OK," recently hosted a musical showcase at the heavily attended SXSW. She is touring in support of her new album "Lights Out." The first single off the album, "Girls Chase Boys," was released with a gender-swapped version of Robert Palmer's 1988 music video for "Simply Irresistible."

Jukebox the Ghost and Secret Someones will join Michaelson at this performance as the opening acts.

The Skyline Stage is a venue in the Mann Center's backyard, so to speak. It has no assigned seating, with all attendees using general admission lawn space. No chairs are allowed, but guests can bring blankets. The Mann Center opened Skyline in 2012 to create a festival-like atmosphere for some of its acts as opposed to the partially covered seats and lawn section of its main stage.
